What the Musk is Happening? | Paul Krugman
And supposedly both Mexico and Canada made some concessions in return for the tariff hold. But there’s really nothing there; neither country is doing anything it wouldn’t have done without the tariff threat. The U.S., on the other hand, agreed to crack down on weapons shipments to Mexico. Trump will spin this as a victory; low-information voters and some intimidated media outlets may go along with the lie. But basically America backed down. So is Trump the classic bully who runs away when someone stands up to him? It definitely looks that way.

Hello, world! Still figuring if micro.one is a good alternative to move from Mastodon. I love Mastodon (is a central piece of the Fediverse) but also love to explore, so I’ll be here at least for a few months. I share most of my stuff at @renato@fixionauta.net and spent 2 years drawing with pixels but this 2025 I want to get back to good old (and semi-reliable) ink!
